The Hood

The Street

The Bakery around the corner. This lady hates that I don't understand her and that I don't speak ANY German :/

Another view down the street...pretty exciting.

View Down Alfred Delp Strasse and the Italian spot on the corner.

The house! My room is the top window.

The Kids!

Kayla!
Whitney 2 (3 next week)

Aiden (6) in kindergarten.

Connor (8) in second grade.

My Room

My simple little room and bathroom on the third floor, up two flights of the creakiest stairs on the planet! It's perfect though with my room and bathroom in the same room ( perfect except for the creaky stairs! I don't want to wake anyone one up walking down at night or in the mornings).
I meet Amy and the kids! Tour the house, chat with the kids. Shower, unpack, dinner at a little Italian Pizzeria called “Adria” with the Cates family.

Super authentic Italian pizza followed by a tiny scoop of ice cream that the owner didn’t know what was in it, but it was green and came from a “tree nut fruit” still unsure what it was but it was tasty.

So I land in Deutschland...

and Jeremy Cates is there to meet me at my gate. We drive 45 minutes South down the autobahn from Frankfurt to Huttenfeld in Hessen.

Layover at O’Hare, I impulsively text Allie Stewart who informs me she got her walking cast taken off yesterday and just celebrated her six month anniversary with “the one”.

Note: Call and get details of these new developments ASAP

BYYYYE Ollie! Have fun with Sarah! You are going on a great little vacation yourself with her and the wieners! Sarah, you're amazing!!!
